Is it normal that last words of first paragraph in Summary Information in CEAC account says "where your interview will take place" for someone who already did the interview?

This is completely normal. My wife has received her visa/green card but the information on her CEAC account is still the same. So don’t worry, just be patient and wait.

Hey thank you. We filed in June 2023 and it was dismissed. We filed again in September 2023 and it was also dismissed. We didn't fight either motion to dismiss so our passport request has come organically.

Ok great to know! :) I am at the 13 month mark now and haven't filed so fingers crossed there are a bunch of us getting close 13, 14, 15 months.

As a heads up to everyone, my status recently changed to Expiring Soon and the CEAC website said my visa had been canceled for not submitting in time.

Obviously a very disappointing and frustrating message to get. However, it seems to potentially be a glitch in the system as others who got passport requests received the same update prior to being asked for passport. I'm hoping it is indeed just a glitch and I may be soon hearing back for passport too.

Regardless, I have reached out to Montreal to let them know that I did indeed submit all documents and will keep you all updated as things go.

Please keep us posted. My first thought is if it is related to the DS-260 on CEAC being automatically opened at the one year mark. I still dont think we have a solid answer what to do there since (1) they don't notify us of it, and (2) they aren't responding to emails when we ask what to do.

Did you get few unsolicited updates to your case recently (in month time)?

Yep, 15 months seems to be the mark right now at least. A bunch of people on here are getting so close.

I second this. Exact same thing happened me.

Sorry but 15 months to complete AP is unacceptable. Especially when they tell people at the interview that it will be a few weeks.

I agree but this is the way the system works. Dealing with millions of immigration applications every year I’m sure brings unique challenges and these nets that we get caught up in are there to filter out potential bad actors. It sucks that we as legit applications get thrown into the dungeon but I myself do have a certain understanding of why things are the way they are. Just my opinion.

Yes, these COs should not be telling applicants that it will be a few weeks/months.  Despicable.  They should just say depends on circumstances of each particular case, and there’s no timeline.
