I have reached out twice but have not received any response. I have not contacted a senator or congressman yet.

There have only been two updates on my case, and the most recent was about three weeks ago

What is your visa category?

Hello everyone , what the hell this massage means. This case is currently pending review by a consular officer. As soon as the review is complete, the Visa Unit will advise of the next steps if anything else is needed to complete processing the case.

standard email reply saying your case is in ap.

It mean your administrative processing is complete and CO will review the outcome of AP. Once the review is complete you will get Medical and Passport Request. Hope this will help. This reply is based on Montreal consulate replies in the past

so  on Dec 2 i got the email to send passport in.    used Purolator, was received on dec 5,  no tracking, wasn't an option for some reason.  I have not seen a case update or gotten a response on if they have even received it.    how long before they typically will update on such a thing?    IR1      also has anyone heard about them forgiving 2nd medicals, I just passed my 6 month mark.
