I am also in the same situation, my passport and 2nd medical results delivered last week, and I got 2 ceac updates and today again got ceac update but status still showed "Refused".

Hi, I had my interview on 05/08/2024 and after 7 months of waiting, I finally got the passport and new medical request.  HOWEVER, the consulate did not request a set of new photos even though it has passed the 6 months mark since my interview date.  Should I send it anyways or if I should expect another request for new photos later? Thanks for any input!

Hi my spouse's passport and medical report have been delivered to the Montreal consulate on Dec 05 (last Thursday). Do I need to email the consulate asking for an update?  My understanding is that things move faster when you enquire about your status, or am I wrong. I am worried that with the upcoming holidays, things are going to be delayed further. Anybody else in the same situation?

lhy9173...If I  were you...I would send a new set of photos....just so that there is no delay...

I would send new passport photos just to be sure

My passport delivered on the Nov 12th and medical on the Nov 20th and I’m still waiting also 😭

Have you received any ceac updates, as I got 3 updates. I had updates week ago when my medical and passport was delivered but again got 3 updates recently.

Hi...i got one update (Dec 4th) after the passprot was received...but no update after medical was uploaded on Dec 5th. Since then there has been no update to my case.

Today marks the end of 7 weeks since the passport was delivered, and we are now entering the 8th week of waiting.

omg...have you emailed the montreal consulate enquiring about your status? also have you tried contacting a senator/congressman to speed up matters.

I have reached out twice but have not received any response. I have not contacted a senator or congressman yet.

There have only been two updates on my case, and the most recent was about three weeks ago
