If you find an answer to this let me know, I also have to send my stuff in and can't.

I ended up sending my stuff today through FedEX. Kind of a risk I think? It should get there on Monday morning so I'll let ya'll know how that goes. I originally sent through the courier service in BLS International, which was the recommended courier in my city but the package kept getting refused.

There must be at least 4-5 of us who have sent their passports in at this point and are just waiting for the issued status, if not more.

I have not noticed any major updates in this community since Nov 5, odd the timing with the election i hope it is nonsignificant and news comes through next week…

I cannot imagine a justification for keeping the passport for weeks on end but it has happened to others. Oh this is testing my patience truly. I try not to dwell on it but end up checking CEAC multiple times a day 🫠

The consulate received my passport on the 12th but I haven’t seen any updates on my ceac, I completed my medical on the 8th but still waiting on the doctor to send the results. Losing my mind honestly.

For those of you that used Dr Lyndon for your medical, how long does it take for them to send the results of the medical to the consulate?

It will take a least 1 week for the blood results to come back and then a few days for them to review and put everything together to send.  Give it 7 BD. Its good to note that your case status will update once they submit it and they will email you confirmation of it being uploaded.

Just checked my CEAC today (I've been checking it on a daily basis) and my case was updated on November 8th. But that date only changed today (November 14th). I know some people here keep an ear to the ground for case updates - so, just dropping this in.

Hey Andrew, mine was updated on November 13th and got our passports returned today. I got an email at 4pm my passport is at BLS. I suspect they returned it because my medicals has expired. Anyone experienced this? When does your medicals expired and do they send back passports and new medical request

Does your CEAC say issued? I don’t think they would return your passport if your medical expired, they would simply send you another email requesting you to complete a new medical. Medical expires every 6 months. Maybe they issued you your visa?

Ceac still shows refused and I read on reddit that they returned someone's passport with new medicals request

My medicals was done in February so it's definitely expired

I’ve still got a little while before this could be an issue for me. My medical would be expiring in Feb.

But they’re still holding my passport. Last update Nov 8

So you most likely should get visa issued soon. Excited for you. Are you in EB category?
