i noticed this - but also realistically do you think they take the time out of their day to print it out and put it into your file physically? or just respond and move on

Realistically, I doubt it.  Probably electronically saved in the applicant’s  file

Hello Everyone,

I have sent an email to Montreal consulate last month and received this email which I have screenshot and attached here. Is this the same generic reply everyone is getting or am I the only one who got this reply where it says “In some cases extensive consular review and administrative processing is required”. Your feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Seems on par with the emails I receive, including the verbiage 'this involves extensive consular review and administrative processing'.

I don't think I've ever seen the 'We continue to aim to reduce the time required for certain types of administrative processing.' - but someone else had that the other day.

Hi all! I’ve been lurking on this post since I was issued the DS 5535 form on June 29th 2023. Yesterday I got my first unsolicited update and this morning received the email to submit an updated medical, photos, passport and to update the ds260 form. Hoping everyone hears good news soon!

Congrats! This is great news! Is it CR1/IR1?

i wonder if they just keep their responses sent to you & not the message you sent them

Most likely all (in/out) email exchanges are saved in each applicant’s E-file once they shoot off a reply, and probably that E-file is archived for a certain period of time once the case is adjudicated.  That’s my guess, but government operates in mysterious ways 😂

To those who have had to submitted second medicals: I completed mine last week but was told by the clinic that my case number has expired and they are waiting for the embassy to re-activate it in order to send in the results.  My interview was in April 2023.  Is this normal?  Does anyone know the turnaround time for the embassy getting it re-activated?

Congrats for hearing back on the medical request! I'm sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but when did you hear back from them? I'll update the tracker.
