No i just waited for them. It took them exactly one week to change my status to issued. It took another two days to get my tracking number and i received it the third day.

Officially crossed the border yesterday. I did get pulled into secondary however they just confirmed some details around my address and who sponsored me. Goodluck to everyone! 🙏🏻🇺🇸

Congratulations!!

Did you do any paperwork for personal vehicle?

Any documents needed to bring personal car from Canada to US?

For those who have recently used the AIS courier service to send in their passport to the Montreal consulate - was anyone asked to update their DS-260 and print the new barcode along with mailing in your passport? This is the only step holding me up from sending in my passport (at their request) but also send it in with the updated DS-260. I've emailed asking how I can complete this step or if the DS-260 form can be "unlocked" on their end so I can complete this quick step and print the updated barcode and mail it all in.

Hello everyone, i sent my documents(passport and 2 photos) through AIS(courierin authorization certificate). Went to Canada post and got the tracking number and it shows delivered w days ago on canada post tracking website. My AIS still shows Current status:Send documents and the status below says Check DS-260 Status. Is it supposed to show like this on AIS page?

That's normal. They leave it like that in case they need to ask for more documents.

My last update was Oct 23.

Nothing since then.

I received another update today (Oct 31st), but still shows refused. My medical was submitted on Oct 25th (doctor mistakenly told me Oct 23rd earlier) and Passport/photos received by consulate on Oct 18th. Was hoping for Visa to be issued this week but still in the waiting mode.

Hey mine looks the same. How did you get the tracking number from Canada post? I sent my documents September 25th by courier as well but wasn’t sure how to track it since I don’t remember getting a tracking number

Still refused on our end as well. Last update was 25 Oct.

We like many were hoping that we would get the exciting status update, however, consulate remains inconsistent with its processes and visa issuance. 😪

Passport delivered back in august.

Passport photos delivered oct 18.

Medical delivered last week oct 23.

Not holding my breath, but heres to hoping that a batch get issued tomorrow or early next week.
