For those who were able to mail the documents to the consulate, how did you guys find the Purolator location that accepts mailing the documents to the consulate? I was trying to look on the document that MTL consulate published in https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/iv/account but all I could see was a bunch of Canada post locations. Thanks in advance

I use the case tracker app as well but it seems to be the exact same information from ceac , with no history and simply last update case. On the 25th of July my wife and I sent a email to the consulate , yesterday (31st) i went to check the app and my case last update date was showing as july 23rd with the app last refreshed on the 29th. I then refreshed the app and to my surprise the last case update date changes to July 30th . I am not sure if it is unsolicited or not since we sent an email on the 25th (didn't hear back though) . And again my case is simply showing the last case update date , so who knows , maybe i got a few more updates that i don’t know about. I will attach a screenshot

Does anyone else remember if when they hit the 1 year mark CEAC updated on that date?

Did you get a case update after hitting one year mark? I don’t think the case automatically update after hitting one year mark, it’s probably an unsolicited update and good news coming to your way. Let us know if your case updated recently.

Yes, we had unsolicited update July 24 and another one today, August 1, which coincides with one year since refusal.
I don’t remember if other people have had updates on their 1 year mark or not.

Hi

I think their total focus is on family based visa not employment

me and Ak47 even hit Ds5535 in March 2023 but no new news . I think they will focus other categories in after September. It’s my understanding

thank you

Yes, only last updated date shows.  I think most people will check regularly to track their own history.  I just make a note in my notes app on my phone every time I see an update to track the frequency.

Reached one year since interview this past July 21.  Current update remains as March 5, 2024.  It’s a no from me

Hi guys, my husband's status shows issued as of this morning! We haven't received a tracking number yet but will do a full update and timeline once we have the passport in hand.

Did you mail your passport to the consulate via purolator or Canada post? Just want to see which one is more reliable.

thanks!

Hello guys . Its me again. So i have gotten another update again today. Hopefully it means that things are moving in the right direction. So ill give u guys a brief timeline

July 23rd - case update unsolicited

july 25th - wife and i sent a letter to consulate (dis not see the prior case update)

July 30th - Case update (not sure if unsolicited since i sent an email)

Aug 1st - Case update (not sure if unsolicited)

typically they reply to emails within 2-3 weeks . So my feeling is that they are all unsolicited. But after being in this for a year almost i dont want to get my hopes up
