I have a couple of questions for anyone who can answer.

Can my fiance come with me to the interview in Montreal and wait with me but not go into the interview or can he come in with me,?,either way would be good just for moral support if nothing else.

With that said once we have visa in hand what do I need at POE to get my belongings ( household & personal not alot and my dog) across the border? I know I will need vet papers for the dog are there forms I have to get to inventory what is on the truck or is a list of whats what good enough?

My horse has been taken care of, he is leaving in Nov goin down to Texas ahead of me,so no worries there.

Thanks for all your help I love this forum, helps pass the time while we wait!

Again thanks a bunch!

Laynie

I think each consulate or embassy has their own rules for the interviews. In Russia the USC is not permitted to attend the interview, but can wait outside. Look for that embassy online and go to their website. You should find ways of answering that question there. Or perhaps someone who's already been through it can tell you. I may be wrong, but I thought animals had to be quarantined when coming into the States. Not sure about that one.
