Alien Registration Number

Hi guys,

 

In the I-130A Form for the spouse beneficiary there is a field for filling out the Alien Registration Number (A-Number) if any. I'd like to know what exactly an Alien registration Number is 🤔

 

More specifically:

The beneficiary has been a Diversity visa selectee and has submitted the Online Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application (DS-260) form in the past. After DS-260 form submission, the beneficiary also sent the requested documents to Kentucky Consular Center, but never received an interview date from the KCC/US embassy in their own country as it was during Covid, and it slowed down the process. 
I would like to know if after submitting the DS-260 application form the beneficiary acquired an Alien Registration Number, or the DS-260 form submission does not grant them an A-Number?

If any, means "if any".  Submission grants no A-number.  Just enter zeros.  Same for social security number if none.
