It's not the same, as there are seperate boxes for them.

For me, my travel document number was my I-94 number, which I provided as at the time of submitting our I-129F, I was in the US.

Hello guys,

Does anyone know if the Passport number is the same as Travel Document number? I encountered this question in the I-130 form.

Thanks.

A person as one or the other, not both.  Leave blank or enter zeros for the one that you don't have.

The I-94 is not the travel document referred to on the I-130 form. It's a document some people have temporarily instead of a passport.

a few countries around the world don't have what we call passports, they have other travel documents. If you have a passport then you don't need to worry about the travel document part.
