Need your advice

Hi everyone, 

Thank you so much for helping me. I need your advice. I am the petitioner. I submitted my I-129F in May last year to sponsor my girlfriend from Vietnam. My I-129F was initially approved in February this year. Then it was sent to the NVC 1 month later. However, NVC returned my application back to USCIS for review. It has been almost 5 month of waiting. A couple days ago, USCIS reopened my case. Yesterday, I received a notice from USCIS. I attached the notice below. From my understanding, USCIS asked me to resubmit page 2 in form I-129F by 9/23. They lost my second page. I am not sure if I need an immigration lawyer to help me with this issue or I can handle this myself with the guy from immigration service I paid for. Please give me advice!

 Please post the entire notice (redacted).  It sounds like one of you is not eligible for a K-1, or you didn't submit a proper I-129f.

Thank you so much for your response. The forum doesn’t let me post the entire page due to size limit. That’s why I only posted the top half. This is the second part of the notice. Please let me know what I need to do now! 

MISSING PAGE

Your Form I-129F is missing page 2 (Edition 03/21/22). Therefore, please complete and submit page 2 of your Form I-129F and include your signature and date. If any item does not apply, write "N/A."

Since the benefit request may be denied based on the preceding information, you are afforded 30 days from the date of this letter to submit evidence, information, or statement in rebuttal to this notice.

Additionally, when USCIS serves a notice by mail, three days are added to the prescribed period in which to respond. Any such evidence or arguments will be carefully reviewed prior to a final determination in this matter. Failure to respond, however, will result in adjudication of the benefit request on the basis of the record, as it is now constituted, including the information referred to above.

Your response must be received in this office by September 23, 2024.

OK.  Thanks.  I think you're correct.  I would re-submit exactly what they want ASAP.  Good luck.

it sounds like you just need to redo page 2 and sign and date the bottom of it.

and send it to whatever address they tell you to that should be on the notice

 

you shouldn't need a lawyer to do that.
