Hi @OldUser, thanks for reply. how did doctor find missing vaccine?

By looking through the list of what vaccines I had paperwork for and didn't. The ones I didn't, he checked whether it could be administered. Some vaccines are not issued after certain age. The ones he could still issue he went through and I got them.

I didn't have the vaccine records with me. I did the blood check. But tbh if money is limit rather just do everything again especially if you over 35yo since some of this vaccines need to get booster anyway. The blood panel things cost like $49/ test.

I went my county health center. Most of the vaccines are included on Texas adult safety net, so if you don't have insurance the cost like $20/vaccine (depends). I forgot there's one vaccine that not commonly available. So you need to ask around. Some other state got this program too so better google to find out (a friend even got it for free in New Orleans).

I brought all the vaccination proof to the appointed USCIS Doc appointment afterwards.

I was able to find vaccination records here and there, but even for some that I knew I had - I couldn't prove it. The only way to go about it is to get them again when you have a chance so that you have evidence of it.

Two tetanus shots for me, one in both arms, within a few weeks of one another..... ouch.

I did as many vaccines as I could in my home country to reduce the cost (where they are free) and unfortunately still needed to pay for some with the authorized civil surgeon. Sometimes, it's just unavoidable.

Spouse had half records from childhood, and the doctor issued titer tests. She has 3 covid shots but it seems like USCIS wants the 2023-2024 covid booster again, best part is, no one in the country seems to have it anymore. So good luck with that.

When life gives you lemons, cut some onions so you can cry.
