How long does it take to get an interview date in Bangkok for K1 visa after the DS 160 form was approved interview paid for?

After sending out the original I-129 F petition form from the US on March 26, 2024, the petition was approved on June 24, 2024.

My fiancé then electronically submitted the DS-160 form to US embassy in Bangkok on June 29, 2024 and it was approved a few days later.

We then sent in the interview fee via ETF to the US embassy in Bangkok on July 4, 2024.

We have been checking the website and trying to set up an interview appointment multiple times every day for the past six weeks and not a single available interview slot has been available.

Are we doing something wrong? Is there any way to communicate or contact someone at the US Embassy to try to arrange an interview date?

Any advice anyone can offer here would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Jim.

Same.  Been checking constantly for months now.  I sent an email but no clarifying information in the reply.  Just appointments will be on the website when available.

This is crazy frustrating.

Keep a close eye on the forum, people often announce on here when they are released (example thread for Manila) -

This thread says to check at the end of the month when more are released if that helps at all -

Good luck.

Oh, Happy Days.

Finally found an open appointment slot - a single one - and booked it.  In a turn of luck, it is just about a perfect time as I will be in Thailand for a couple weeks prior to assist with the last minute items (Medical, Police Record) and make sure all is organized.

I rather belatedly realized they changed the entire website for booking appointments.  I can't believe that was not better communicated.  And the new website is not a whole lot better than the old one.

It took quite a bit of effort to get our info over into the new site, including having to send a message to figure out how to import our interview payment proof.  But all is finally ready.

I will be scouring the site for info on how to schedule and organize the final steps.

From memory, he needs an updated Single Certificate from village, a visit to get the Police Record check, and the medical.  I think that is all that is left, except organizing and copying everything he will need to bring to the interview.

Exciting!
