IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

The US Citizen petition and sponsored the children 14yrs and 16yrs The case is ready in Ghana for the interview as at now,the problem is it's long over there since June 2021.

Ghana is known to have backlogs however, if the DQ was since June 2021, then it’s too long. My sister in law and her kids were DQ’d around the same time but they had their interviews last year October and are already here. Maybe the petitioner should try and contact the embassy or let their senator contact them on their behalf.

I agree with @Moda25above. For immediate relatives of USC the backlog has been shaved from almost 2 years to about 13-15 months so yours seems to be taking way too long. Follow @Moda25advice. Good luck.
