Expedite Request - Valid Reason?

Good day to everyone.

We are at the NVC stage of the consular process now. I (petitioner and US citizen) will be needing surgery in two months and have no one to care for me here in the states. My wife is currently in Mexico.

My question is if this falls under criteria for an expedite at the Juarez embassy?

I just finished gathering detailed medical record that goes over surgery, letter from doctor stating need for surgery and personal statement.

What are your thoughts?

Free to try. The worst they can say is no but won't affect your position in line. Good luck.

Agree

Doesn't hurt to try but two months is not realistic for results.

No one here can tell you if you'll get an expedite, but as others said, it's free to try. Pretty sure even if it's approved, two months is cutting it close.
