Then the wait for the next stage will depend on how quickly you can submit docs (it’s worth getting them ready as you approach the time you expect your I-130 to be approved, particularly things like police certs if applicable, as they can take a while to obtain), and which consulate you’re applying for the visa at. Waits for an interview can be as quick as 2 months, or as long as 2 years. I hope you’re at one of the quicker ones.

Actually that is a good point, I believe because the beneficiary is a minor there arent police certificates or an abundance of documents (did not find much information online). Thankfully I am in a country with a relatively available interview slots...also not sure whether a 14 years old will have to go through an interview given that when we submitted the I130 she was 13 years old

-I-130 spousal petition

-Filed online April 30 2024

-Majority of the time it was at Potomac center

-dec 10 2024 got an email saying they were taking action. The action was moving our case from Potomac to Texas service center

-Dec 16 got another action letter via email. Checked online, had I-130 approval notice

 

i did submit a k-3 petition on June 14 2024. Hasn’t been denied yet.
