Dangerous cities in what context?

The annual FBI analysis? Nope. Infragard? Nope. DHS? Nope.

From where, are you drawing your data?

Your data is absolutely wrong.

Morgan Quitno Press is an independent private research and publishing company located in Lawrence, Kansas. Founded by Scott Morgan, Kathleen O'Leary Morgan and Neal Quitno (pronounced Quit No) in 1989, the company specializes in reference books that compare states and cities in several different subject areas. The corporation is not a subsidiary of any other company nor is it subsidized by any outside interest group. Its books are found in reference libraries throughout the United States and around the world.

My point exactly, they don't have access to the statistical data such as Infragard.

In this instance, a security clearance is required for the law enforcement sensitive data and so forth. I read this source material every day in my job and find quite different results.

Don't be mislead by internet sources that have zero value

Reality ignored, so typical of this site.

I think the greatest crime in Greenwich is probably failing to wear white on the tennis court. Truly, I am a babe in the land of WASPs. Nothing wrong with WASPs, but sometimes you realize your students could buy the building you're teaching in.

Even then not all of the stats are reported. A family member of mine who is a police officer was saying how they are told to not arrest people with certain crimes, turn a blind eye so to speak, because it will make the city / county look bad.

There are various sites with stats out there. MSN, Forbes, CNN, Washington Post etc. Are they all wrong?

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Agreed, that some crimes goes unreported. These are usually the instances of crime, not reported or called in to Law Enforcement, by the victim.

With that said, Police Departments are required by law, to report their cases to the Feds.

If cases go unreported, the Law Enforcement entity is in violation of Federal law

The Feds then compile the information for release to Law Enforcement entities, cleared to receive such data. Is the public informed, as protocol would suggest? No.

The problem was people took it personally and then attacked on a personal level; as well as throwing out accusations. I am not going to stand for that #######.

The problem was you used a general article about changing population trends to justify a whole bunch of offensive generalisations about minority groups. None of which was actually supported by any solid evidence - but rather 3rd rate anecdotes from your brother's, best friend's, ex-girlfriends, room-mate.

18 pages says that (more than a few) people aren't prepared to stand for that.

To be honest I can say whatever the hell I want. I do not have to justify myself in a 'forum'.

PS Did you see me drop a tear over the 18 pages of personal attacks? I think not chief..

Sure. But if you volunteer your background and self promote your expertise you'd better live up to your claims.

I 'volunteer' my background on a need to know basis. Hence why I have rarely said anything. Nonetheless I have nothing to hide behind 1's & 0's..

I don't go calling people idiots; then only to call them a self-promoter when they rebut me..

No - you make sweeping generalizations, then when challenged on them - go off in 50 different directions, eventually taking the original comments completely out of context

Hence comments relating to crime and socioeconomics - suddenly get quoted by you in a completely different thread in regards to population diversity. Rather dishonest, wouldn't you say?

And actually you've trotted out that "economics and engineering" line several times to my knowledge.

And here we go round in circles again..

And actually you've trotted out that "economics and engineering" line several times to my knowledge.

The one thing I have noticed in this forum is how certain people can go on and on about a topic they have little or no knowledge in. You guys have disputed every single piece of evidence while providing none of your own. "It's wrong, it's BS its 100th rate anecdote etc, your racist, what would you know. Wild tangent, no wonder the kids are screwed up bla bla bla". Well apart from the usual rhetoric, personal insults, that 'one' link and the stock standard accusations.

There is no point in discussing anything unconventional period. The end!!
