Hi, I already had the interview with my fiance for his k1 visa. He got denied because on his records there was still reflecting a case that happened over 10 years ago. We already cleared it out, but still told us to apply to a i-601 waiver. Will he be able to travel first in order to process the k-1 visa? I just would like to know if it really takes 22 months for him to travel.

Ok i understand we call it "get it approved " to having his papers. But just for him to travel to the US? Is it any before that? We dont mind waiting for the approval in the US

No. How can he enter the US without a valid K1 visa in his passport?
