Approval Timeline for CR1 visa Petition

I filed on march 19 for a spouse CR1 visa and k3 17 days later the my progress tab is going crazy it's been 4 weeks, 3 weeks and even 16 months and noticed the processing timeline even shifted to 15 months after checking yesterday. Does anyone have a clear idea of what USCIS is up to when processing? I was told that it will take roughly 10 to 11 months and even 12 months maximum by a lawyer but that does not seem to be the case anymore it seems. It has only been little over 4 months so I am expecting a march approval or earlier is even more better. Visa journey is saying I might get an answer from between May 2 to may 9 2025. Is the visa journey timeline more accurate or is it just like the my progress tab?

VJ timelines are more accurate as they are based on actual data inputted by users. USCIS progress tab on the other hand is a random number generator. 12-14 months is the average timeline for I-130 approval.

Oh wow if that is the the case then that would be exactly 14 month with it being during the May month. Alright thank you at least I know now to realistically adjust my expectation towards the may month for an approval but I pray for it being less hopefully.

I beleve that the 12/14 months timeline is fair and leading to be more accurate than any timeline that is shorter.  As you stated, set your expectations to 12 months and be pleasantly surprised if it comes sooner.  My approval came a few days after the one year anniversary of my filing.  Good luck.

Yea I believe you are right that way I won't set myself up for disappointed expecting something to happen earlier rather just wait for the 12 month mark. Much appreciated for your comment.
