Firearm question

Hi all, a strange one but perhaps someone can help:

I have a B2 tourist visa. If I was to travel to the US and while at my relatives’ home, my brother-in-law hands me his gun for me to shoot a couple of rounds, is that allowed?

Or are tourist visa holders not allowed to use firearms even if it’s in a private yard?

there is nothing against you firing a gun, as a tourist (obv provided it’s done safety etc)

many gun ranges (just about all in vegas!) will allow tourists to go and rent/shoot in them too, provided you have government ID (such as passport)

I think this may be down to state / city laws and regulations.

I know for sure you can fire guns in Vegas as a tourist at ranges legally.
