Adjustment of status I-485 requires I-693 Medical Exam but they took it at the airport

Hello,

I'm working on I-485 adjustment of status.  My wife and her child got their medical exams in Dubai.  They received a sealed envelope.  When they arrived in Chicago, the immigration officer took the sealed envelope.  So we don't have any I-693 at all.

We do have the vaccination records that they received at the medical exam.   What do I do about the I-693?  Websites say you have to include it, but we don't have it.  I think immigration has it.

Ensure you read the I693 instructions for the K1 exemption rules.

You have a DS3025.

Photocopy it and submit that as recommended (but not required).

Your IO will obtain your Afile for the interview where your medical exam is stored.

You dont need the sealed envelope to file your AOS packet, the only thing you need is to send a copy of your DS-3025

If you also want, print some screenshots from "PAGE 14 OF FORM I-485 INSTRUCTIONS, SECTION 10" and "PAGES 7 AND 8 OF FORM I-693 INSTRUCTIONS, SECTION 3", then send them with your AOS packet📨

I sent my DS-3025 along with those screenshots and got approved with no RFE☺️
