Ok so we are waiting for a visa interview and have not received any notices from the embassy so far via mail to email. My finance has completed the DS 160 and booked her medical. Per St. Luke's they require the interview date to perform the medical examination. Seeing as I have no letter and when we tried to schedule it stayed no appointment slots are available. I'm trying to determine that to do next and any advice is appreciated.

Also can someone shed light on manilla 4 and k1 Visa 4. Nothing occurs when we click this link

For Manila, you will not hear anything from the embassy.  It appears you have done everything correctly to this point.  IV is not 4, it is Immigrant Visa.  That is not really a link that you are clicking.  It just shows the place and type of visa applied for.

St. Lukes will possibly allow her to complete the medical exam without an interview appointment, but she will need to sign a waiver acknowledging that her K-1 visa expiration date will be 6 months from her medical exam, no matter how long it takes to schedule an interview.  There is no guarantee she will be allowed to complete her medical, but in the past, it was allowed if the waiver was signed.  It would be nice to have the K1-FTP letter, but the DS-160 confirmation page might be enough.

There is nothing to do, other than continue to look for available interview appointments.

The K1-FTP letter is from NVC.  It is an email attachment.  It is sent to whatever email address NVC has on file for your case when it is sent to the embassy.  I used the online scheduler.

For safety and privacy, attachments in the original post were removed as they showed a personal email address.

The topic is moved from K1 forum to the Philippines regional forum for Manila specific advice.

My fiancee and I got an email from the embassy about 10 days after CEAC said our case was ready. The email said that "You are now eligible to schedule an interview"... etc. But I also hear that not everyone gets one of those.

I would do the medical ASAP, just in case she gets caught up with the ‘sputum’ testing delays.

I wouldn’t waste time trying to call to schedule an embassy interview, do they even allow that?

In general, I think one has to check for interview openings when the Manila embassy is open. If checking between 9:00 A.M to 3 P.M. USA CST, don’t expect new openings. I think a worker at the embassy needs to ‘seed’ those interview openings. I had to cancel ours on the 13th, I’m sure it was filled quickly.

The medical at St Luke’s is easy to schedule.

We scheduled Jaycel's medical without having an interview appointment as a precaution like @widude said above. We just happened to catch a cancellation on the schedule for the week after her medical. Fortunately she passed. And also to widude's point, I was was checking the calendar on the ustraveldocs site at 9:13am Manila time when I grabbed that appointment.

St. Lukes will allow the beneficiary to do medical without an interview appointment. She just has to sign a waiver coming from SLEC; that's what I did. In my case, that waiver was a laminated statement that I had to copy on a blank paper.

I received hard copies of K1FTP and pamphlets 3 weeks after Case Ready status and the Interview Eligibility Letter a week later. These documents are not that much of a deal when completing K1. The most importantwould be the medical completion, DS160 and the additional docs to be submitted on the day of the interview.

The K-1 FTP is a letter attached in an email that the NVC sends you when they have shipped your case file to the embassy
