Help - Can't Pay DS-160 No Appointments Available ais.usvisa-info

Hey all, our approved case went to the embassy in Lima and they even sent us an email with instructions on how to schedule the interview. I've been trying to do so since Saturday.

The problem I'm having is that there is no option to pay for our DS-160.

I liked our completed DS-160 to our ais.usvisa-info account and made it through the first two steps, but when I get to the third "Payment" page, it just says no interviews available and doesn't have anywhere that I can pay for the DS-160.

I'm confused because the 4th step on the website seems to be there you actually schedule the interview. I've reached out to the embassy and the help desk for the ais.usvisa-info people both of which were of little help.

I just want to be sure we're doing this right and this isn't some kind of glitch or something because everywhere I have seen online says that you pay the DS-160 first, then you can schedule the interview. I've tried it on Firefox, chrome and edge, I have tried it in private windows, but nothing let's me pay.

Thanks in advance.

We are going through a different embassy that uses that system.

We were able to pay the VISA fee after selecting an interview date. I would suggest checking back as often as you can to keep an eye out for new openings.

Thank you for the sanity check! I also clarified with the support email for the ais.usvisa-info website and they said the same thing. I couldn't find anywhere online that said you have to choose a date before paying, so I was a bit worried 😅
