Hi, my sister is on b1/b2 visa and she is due for renewal. Can she renew through the dropbox process while in USA?  She is a Pakistani citizen

No. Visas are issued at the embassies overseas, not in the US.

There's no dropbox for B visas, she has to follow the usual process. The wait for a B visa interview is about a year so make sure she applies well before her current visa expires.

Visas are issued abroad NOT in USA. 

 

And please, don't try to tell her to overstay with the hopes of filing a petition for her. It'll take 12+ years
