Advice req’d. K1 visa medical

Hello! Brand new user here! After advice.

i have my K1 medical scheduled for next week. As part of this I have requested my medical history summary. On my summary it notes historical bouts of poor mental health (short term medication at the time), along with (what the GP has called) ‘alcohol dependency’. One instance in 2016 and one in 2022. I don’t feel I had a dependancy but I did seek help as I thought I was drinking more than I should.

i have no criminal record and no alcohol related police issues.

since receiving my summary I have got a letter from my GP stating that they have had no concerns regarding alcohol or mental health for 2 years now, a letter signed by coaches and parents from the boxing club I’ve  been involved with for 2 years stating the same and a letter from a support group I attended at the time (again stating the same).

Should I be worried the clinician will fail me on medical grounds as although I don’t drink any more, I don’t have proof from tests to show 12 months of sobriety?

Is this London?

From what I have seen they may focus on the alcohol issue, I doubt they will on the mental aspect.
