Do i need to upload my passport to CEAC? And how about NBI and Police clearance i read in US travel that my NBI Clearance need to transmit directly to Embassy or it is ok to bring on interview. Also how about income tax return. Do i need to bring it also the recent or it is ok if it is old uploaded to CEAC. If So my parents will ship the tax return here in Philippines.

Greetings!

Please upload all new documents on CEAC, everything that was expired and nearly its expiration date and make sure to bring it along with your during your interview. At the consul office. they will ask you if you already uploaded all new documents, if not they will ask, and some will be allowed to go out and download all documents before the interview otherwise some will ask to have another appointment. To avoid this, download before your interview appointment TO AVOIND a hassle.

ALSO, IF IT IS A NEW AFFIDAVIT, OFCOURSE YOU HAVE TO INCLUDE EVERTHING THAT IS RELEVANT TO YOUR INTERVIEW, BE PRO ACTIVE AS IT IS A BIG HASSLE! BRING IT ALONG WITH YOU IN CASE THEY NEED TO VERIFY DOCUMENTS.

Can we speak tagalog here? Lol. So how about the NBI clearance that is for renewal is there a specific option on NBI clearance that i need this for visa interview? Also what affidavit?

NBI Clearance is valid for 1 year from when it is issued.  It has a "VALID UNTIL" date on it".  The embassy will go by that date.  You just need the normal blue "MULTI-PURPOSE CLEARANCE".  It is better to upload it and bring the original to the interview yourself rather than having it sent directly to the Embassy.  The Embassy has been known to loose documents sent directly to them.  If you bring it yourself you know it is there.

If the old NBI Clearance is expired there's no need to bring it.  You need a new one.  But do upload the new one to CEAC.  Usually they dont ask to look at tax returns. They just look at what is in CEAC.  You can still bring updated tax returns just to be safe.  Mom could e-mail you a pdf.  A printout is fine.  They also prefer tax transcripts to actual tax returns and transcripts are fewer pages to print.

Greetings!

1. I just looked at my brothers NBI, and it says MULTI PURSPOSE CLEARANCE.

2. If the sponsor filed a new affidavit of support, then normally the embassy will ask a new one filed within this year and all the supporting documents.

3. As much as we wanted to speak our language, it will be rude when others could not understand.

4. Anything to be renewed, and about expired documents renew it before interview.

5. if you remembered way before, NBI also is requested during job application locally and some requested for local and not travel abroad and I think that is why they made sue that they ask for specific and now they have multipurpose clearance,

6. if you think it is relevant to your interview, download it. then ask your bother to take it with him just in case if they need to verify documents, and you have it ready,

7. Both my brothers came one after the other under F2B Category.

8. Trust me, I was following and listing what I needed to upgrade until their interview day all the way when they got their visa delivered.

Goodluck! NG

You can call the embassy via email and tell them to open for ceac for correction. ex. for my brothers. we needed to update due the death of my father. I managed to FedEx all updated documents, and it arrived less than 10 days to Cebu. and also, if time is the factor just make sure to upload it online at least.
