Forgot to add contact information

Hello,

 

we got asked to send an I-130a (spouse) and we forgot to fill out the contact information section where it says phone  number if any - email address if any.

 

However in the I-130 we already have written the spouse phone number in the appropriate field. I don’t really understand why they ask these infos twice (on each form)

 

Are these info really used? And should we be okay?

Yeah, they're used. But also, *if any.* You're fine. 

 

It'll be picked from the other forms.

The most important and only actually important information in those sections is the petitioner's email.  Make sure to include all the foreign spouse's contact information at the NVC stage though.

you can send messages to NVC through their portal, just tell them, they will fix it, had them change address info, etc several times while waiting for DQ
