Do I need to file a separate green card application (I-130) for my newborn(Outside of the USA) son?

I filed a green card application for my wife in March 2021 while I was a permanent resident. The case advanced to the documentary qualification stage at the National Visa Center (NVC) in May 2022. Our son was born in June 2023. I've heard that I could potentially add my son to the green card application when the interview is scheduled since the case is NVC documentary qualified. However, I recently became a U.S. citizen.

Time Line (As a permanent resident):
Priority Date  March 2021
Document Qualified Date :  May 2022
Son Birth date : June 2023.
US Citizen Date : July 2024

Yes. Have you informed NVC that you've naturalized?

1.  Immediately file an I-130 for child.

2.  Immediately ask USCIS for an expedite for the child

3.  Immediately contact NVC and tell them to delay the interview for wife until child's case is DQ due to your naturalization.
