Hope someone can help.

My K1 NOA2 is expiring Sept 30,2024.  Yesterday, my fiancee paid visa fee at the branch per instruction but now ustraveldocs is frozen my account and need to wait 72hrs.  Last time I checked, the first available appointment is Sept 19.  I scare after 72hrs, no available appointment before Sept 30.  What should I do? Who do I email to extend NOA2 expiration date?  Thank you

Side note:  Please DO NOT login USTravelDoc more than 3 or 4 times a day to avoid account frozen.  Or else it will block your access for up to 72hrs.  I wish the US travel Doc mentioned on there site.

most embassies will automatically extend K-1 petitions if they believe they are still being pursued.

if you are able to get back into the account before sept. 30 and schedule the interview you should be fine. even if it ends up being scheduled for after sept. 30

for example, my fiance scheduled his interview in may for july 9th, but our NOA2 expired on july 4th. they didn't even bring up the fact that the NOA2 expired. different embassy but still.

if you're still worried you can use the Phnom Penh visa navigator to get the email for who you should contact.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSel63zwtT9qRZTqkg0J4kv7LaLPAG55sLMoiaiCD8CH1mtkKg/viewform

if you do go through the form just make sure you select immigrant visas

Another question, is 72hrs fixed? Does it reset to another 72hrs if I try logging in few hours from now or tomorrow?

that im not sure of, i dont think my fiances account got locked at any point.

from looking at reddit posts from other people who have had their account locked, you have to wait the full 72 hours it looks like.

it sounds like you can only visit the site a certain amount of times a day before you get blocked for the 72 hours. but it varies for people.

unfortunately you'll have to wait, but I believe you should be fine.

I did find the travel docs site rather finicky, locking one out for little reason. I never came close to a 72 hour lockout. I’d try after 2-3 hours, maybe try a different iPad or phone to log on.

I will try in a few hours

This happened to us last week... It said "Up to 72 Hours" but they unfroze it approximately 40 hours later. It does not reset your clock if you attempt to login to check if it's unfrozen. I was checking every six hours or so.

Here’s another idea, may not work if you can’t log on though. I was working my way through the travel docs site, had an issue with the ‘receipt number’. She paid at a bank over there, but the number didn’t match the site generated number.

I was able to email them(once logged in), open a request, and they fixed it. With the receipt copy I sent, they made the bank generated receipt ‘active’.

Hopefully you will reset. If not I’d sniff around for a way to email them with any account information to get you up & running.

If she just paid the fee, it sounds like you didn’t fully complete the travel docs registration? If so, how about a different email then start registration again? If she paid the fee you may have to email them like I did, and explain the receipt number doesn’t match the site generated number. They were able to ‘activate’ that number, I sent a copy.

An idea if I understand the problem.

Oh I guess you might have misunderstood my issues.  Registration went was ok.  The issue was because I login so many times,  the website blocked me and had to wait 72hrs.

But if you didn’t enter and get credit for paying the fee, the registration isn’t complete.  You tried another device? Even a phone?

I think I was blocked at times also, only temporary though.
