From the quotes I have heard, I think he is left of Harris...and proud of it.  We will see what rural America thinks about both of them.  Shapiro would have been a more logical choice to appeal to moderates....but Kamala and the dem machine's hypocritical hatred got in the way.

I have yet to hear the reason Mark Kelley was not chosen.  The dems need Arizona, and Kelley seems to be more moderate than Walz.

I agree with the opinion sort of.  I don’t think the Democrats are moving away from their “pivot to the middle” strategy, but they needed someone full woke, and extreme leftist to make it look like KK is more of a centrist.

Federal Air Marshal Service whistleblowers have exposed the Transportation Security Administration’s weaponized Quiet Skies program.

 

The whistleblowers have come forward to the Air Marshal National Council, an advocacy council for air marshals. The whistleblowers have reported that former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii—a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate—has been a target under the program, resulting in her being added to the TSA’s suspected-terrorist watchlist.

 

While the TSA claims that race and religion are not considered when enrolling someone in Quiet Skies, political affiliation is excluded from that policy. In 2022, Gabbard left the Democratic Party and became an independent, and she has been critical of both the party and the military-industrial complex.

 

Gabbard recently criticized the Biden-Harris administration and denounced unnecessary and endless wars. Soon after she made her remarks, she was unknowingly assigned federal air marshals to accompany her on her flights.

I heard her interview on Sean Hannity's radio show today.  The trouble started on July 23 -- the day after Bidementia dropped out (so yes, Bill, your post belongs in this thread) -- and both Tulsi and her husband are affected.  (Kommie's retribution for being barbecued in the 2020 debate by Tulsi, anyone think?)  They each get "SSSS" on their boarding passes, and they can't check in on-line.

 

The searches involve patdowns of every inch of packed clothing, complete inspections of electronic items and phones, personal patdowns of all bodily areas, and closure of one full TSA lane so that 4 agents and a supervisor can perform the deeds.  These inspections can take 45 minutes to an hour, which is not fun when trying to make one's flight.

 

Tulsi has retained a freedoms-type law firm to fight this, and she said that she'll take it all the way to SCOTUS.
