Applying for Jobs While Waiting for EAD to be Mailed? (Just putting yes for work permit on application)

Is there some way the government can view submitted applications by SSN? I know I shouldn't put yes on online applications for permitted to work until it is technically in hand. But, by the time the interview processes are over, we would receive it in the mail.

The i-765 employment authorization was approved, we are waiting on the EAD to be mailed.

Just trying to see if I can skip one redundancy... (They could instantly email the EAD as soon as the i-765 is approved if they wanted )

u do not need to show green card to employer so if u  have SS #,  provide that /SS # is what the employer to report wages to IRS

An employer has to verify both identity and the right to work via I-9, and SSN alone doesn't do that. https://www.uscis.gov/i-9
