Hello

My friend apply for expedite Appointment time For B2 Visa because his Daughter was ill in the usa , but the embassy not accept the expedite , even there was not any option to attached her Doctor letter

Some person recommended to send email directly to this email address : NVCExpedite@state.gov

I want to know is this email NVCExpedite@state.gov can be used for B2 visa ? or is this email address only for Immigrant case ?

Did you have any experience with this email address NVCExpedite@state.gov ?  can they contact to my friend embassy and arrange fasted appointment ? can they fix ?

Thank you

B2 visas are only reviewed and issued by the Dept. of State, so the US embassy is your only option to request an expedite.  NVC is not involved at all with tourist visas.

No

There is no such thing as an expedited B2, you can ask for an Emergency Appointment.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Thank you , but the problem is the embassy not accept his expedite

I don't know can he send Direct email to that embassy for faster appointment ? Because when he Apply in his Panel account on the embassy then they not accept his expedite

They can not accept something they can not do. I assumed he followed the procedure for obtaining an emergency appointment.

Daughter was ill....so I guess she's recovered now?

Is the daughter a US citizen/ GC holder or how's she in US?

Nonetheless, your friend is not getting anything faster. Those in the US and who are in process of adjusting their status, don't even get expedited for anything, should their relatives back home fall sick or even pass away.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Then that is their answer.  The embassy/consulate has the authoritative say in whether to grant an emergency interview for a B2.
