Brrr…I definitely missed facts, and read ( likely imagined 😂) that father was a USC when OP was born. Carry on…seems more coffee for me

To me it wasn't clear from the post whether OP's mother was a US citizen at the time OP was born. Maybe I miss something, but OP may have been born to a foreign mother. Later in life father got employment based GC and naturalized... 

 

@JeanAb can you help understanding your mother status when you were born?

Is that enough proof that I am my father’s child? because when my mom gave birth to me my dad was here in the states and they got married a year after my birth. I also have legal documents such as affidavit of legitimation. 
 

Can I submit the documents I have here like my Dad’s Citizenship, my birth certificate with the documents of affidavit, and my green card?

Op, I think this should do to prove that you are child of your father and also legal custody (affivadit of legitimation because you were born out of wedlock). Did mom also come along as LPR in 2016? If so add docs showing you lived in a marital uniom home with mom and dad; this also shows legal custody.

Add some some mails, school records, medical records, IDs, insurance, etc etc that shows common address with dad when you were living with dad before 18 to prove physical custody. Good luck.

If my understanding is correct then proving you are the child of your father is not an issue since it seams you have solid evidence of that. I think the issue is proof that your father had legal and physical of you when you entered US as LPR before you turned 18. 

 

 

 

This is my interpretation.  It sounds like on the previous passport application they received a letter spelling out exactly what evidence needed to be provided to prove the US Citizen parent's physical and legal custody and to prove the applicant was a minor when they entered the US as a LPR.  It seems the easy solution is to provide what was requested.

I applied my american passport yesterday’ and they got my green card from me so hopefully they will approve my application. Thank you guys so much!

Hopefully, you get your passport soon. I just want to add that after you get your passport I'll highly recommend you also apply for N600 certificate.
