What site is this?

I didn't link it because I've seen links get people in trouble before but now I had time to read the terms of use and this one should be fine: https://www.casestatusext.com/forms/N-400/IOE-LB

I of course can't vouch for its accuracy.

I had my interview today. It was straightforward and quick! I applied under the 3-year rule with a pending I-751.

My I-751 was approved right away because my spouse was with me. Then the officer took my fingerprints and started the test. He asked:

  1. Name three of the 13 original colonies.
  2. What did the Declaration of Independence do?
  3. Who is the Governor of your state?
  4. What did the Emancipation Proclamation do?
  5. If the President can no longer serve, who becomes the President?
  6. How many amendments does the Constitution have?

Then, he asked me to read the question, “Who was the first President?” and write the answer on the tablet “Washington was the first President.”

Finally, he told me that my application had been approved. He said that they’re doing four ceremonies every week, so it’s likely that mine will be scheduled soon.

Best of luck, everyone.

I can't believe I'm posting this 😂 but I just got an email saying "we took an action on your case." 🤯

I logged in to my USCIS and both the i751 and i400 said "interview scheduled." Now I'll wait for the mail receipt to see when it will be.

Filed for naturalization on August 7, 2024 after waiting for a year and a few months on the i751 case (I had filed for that one on April 19, 2023), inspired by other cases on visa journey so thank you everyone! Can't believe I'm finally going to be done with all of this.

Today I took the oath and completed my journey of naturalization at Waco, TX. Thank you for all the help and support you guys provided. It helped a lot!!

Tomorrow, I have an appointment at Dallas passport agency. Trying to get an urgent passport. My sister unfortunately passed away a couple of weeks ago and I had to travel urgently on my green card. I was a bit concerned if me marking "yes" to one of the post-interview eligibility questions would raise a concern but the officer just marked the dates and allowed me to enter the hall. They took all of my EAD and AP cards. Because of this personal disaster, the whole oath ceremony experience was less exciting as I was grieving the whole time. I am carrying the death certificate and a trip that is tentatively planned to see if I can get the passport soon at the passport agency. Will keep y'all posted.

Sad to hear about your sister; my condolences.

I misspoke. I was able to collect the passport book and card at the passport agency. They also returned the original naturalization certificate which was a relief.
