I understand but it should not be like that. We meet the requirements and we pay the fee, as a fee driven agency, it should be processed in a timely manner not in a political agenda manner

USCIS is not fair and life is not fair in general. Historically, 12 months is a reasonable processing time for citizenship case. So I wouldn't worry until August 2025. If it gets processed faster - that's awesome.

My actionRequired is true. Not sure what it means. My interview is scheduled for January 15th.

I got the same. I think is a generic classification for all cases. It does not mean anything

Just give it a few hours or even days for the letter to be uploaded to your account. You can find it under the Documents Tab in your account.

Knowing the JAX office it'll be end of January or even in February.

I received my copy in snail mail today no updates online. @Chrito how was your experience? Did they ask for any documents?

I just submitted my application.

I received the Receipt Notice and Biometric Reuse notification right away.

The website's timeline says the process will take 7 months for the Tampa (FL) office. Hopefully, it will take less time.

Good luck, yall.

My interview was scheduled for Feb 10th :D

Just finished my interview at San Antonio, TX. Case was approved. It went really fast. The officer asked to keep my pile of documents far away from me 🙂 and then put me on oath. She started by civics, reading and writing tests. She mentioned I can take as much time I want but my first answer will be counted. Also, the stylus was bad as it was passive/capacitive stylus. Writing or signing through it was tricky — had to apply pressure. After that, she confirmed name, DOB, travel, family and went through the yes/no questions like a rapid-fire, even combining some of the questions (like have you been done terrorist activity, guerrilla warfare, sabotage, prostitution, killed, threatened etc)… Her camera had some issue even though the check-in desk took my photo and fingerprints. She asked me to go to the seating area and kept my passport and GC. Then she called me in 5 mins and took me to one of her colleagues who took my photo. Then she made me sign the tablet and printed the approval form. She said oath letter should come through mail and will be uploaded online. I asked her where my oath will be — Austin or San Antonio? She mentioned likely Austin as it has two oath locations but San Antonio has higher capacity. Will see what happens in the next few days. Thank y’all for all the help and advice. It really helped.
