Wife cleared her interview today. She had a bit of an issue with her name. Our marriage certificate had a "-" in her last name after she added my last name into hers, but all other documents (GC, PP, DL, etc) had " " instead. The interviewer said since she has "-" in her marriage certificate, that will be her legal name. The naturalization certificate will contain the " ".

 

As soon as she finished her interview, she was handed the oath ceremony notice for October 7th at 2:30pm in San Antonio location. Even that document had "-" in her last name. She did ask about this and another officer also mentioned that is her legal name and her naturalization certificate will contain " ". She also mentioned she will complete her 5-year GC anniversary on November 5th but the officer mentioned they are allowing oath in the 90 day period so she is eligible. That is the last day of voter's registration in Texas.

 

As far as the interview goes, it went smooth. No document was asked. She was asked to read "Who can vote?" and write "Only US citizens can vote."

Hi, I submitted my n400 on Aug 4,2024 based on 3 year rule. I got biometric reuse next day. wondering if any one has same FO as me (Detroit)?

Do pending I-751/N-400 cases typically take longer to process? We have a friend who applied on the same day in August (has a 10 year gc for the past 8 years) and was scheduled for their N-400 interview this week. 
I’ve also seen that people get an I-751 was transferred update but mine is still stuck on case is being actively reviewed.

Yes, this is normal. With I-751, case required more admin work and time to adjudicate plus officer who specializes in Removal of Conditions.

Congragulattions ! My wife will be doing her interview on October 10 . Unfortunately she will miss registering to vote here .

I know the estimated time on USCIS account doesn't mean anything. But I did see my  estimated time updated -Estimated time* until case decision:
approx. 2 months

it might be an automated tool, which is frustrating because it creates high expectations (and frustration lol)

Yes i agree it's frustrating but anyway looks like that estimated time is mostly meaningless
