when is your wife's 3 or 5 year anniversary date??

if the interview falls BEFORE the green card anniversary date, then the case will be denied..... you will have to end up doing 2 interviews.

August 31 2020 So she is at 4 years .Her ROC was approved last month. So she will be okay . She wasn't expecting the interview to come up so fast.

My wife just got an email "We have taken an action on your case" email but no updates in her online profile. Her interview is scheduled in San Antonio on September 24th. Mine's has no updates after biometrics reuse :-(.

When did she apply ? And u can check in the documents may be there is new notice in her profile

We both applied on August 8th. No new document after the interview letter, which was posted on August 13th. I looked into the page source and the "UpdatedAt" field is for today. I am guessing some official may have just touched her application.

You and your wife applied together . But she got her interview yours is pending whats major defference between the two files ?

Not much difference. I applied 3-4 hours later after hers. She is from Bangladesh and I am from India. She is currently not working whereas I am. Rest all is pretty much similar.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Till June Uscis received 70 to 80 n400 applications and uscis processed same amount or nore than it received . July therr is huge spike 94k applications they only processed 73k . And also avg processing tome increased from 4.9 months in march to 5.9 months in july.

It appears uscis os receiving more applications and processong less and slowing down may be coz election date is aproaching .

So we augist filers are not lucky we have to wait very long time even for interview letters may be only in 2025 .

I think it really depends on your local office and under what rule you applied for. For example, my local office received fewer applications in Q3 than in Q2 and has fewer pending applications. However, it might take me longer to receive an interview date because I was an early filler under the 3-year rule, whereas they will process a case faster for someone who applied and is already eligible to take the oath.

But it's all my guess based on what I think makes sense lol
