Timeline

My wife did all her paper work for her NVC interview and finished in January and we still have not heard a word really what happing in the Cairo embassy. I have no I deal who to contact or what to due it been 7 month and nothing

Please clarify.   No such thing as an NVC interview.  Did she have a spouse visa interview in Cairo 7 months ago?

There isn’t a ton of data on Egypt spousal cases, but the latest timeline indicates that they waited 10 months for an interview letter:

Timeline

Would love to hear if your wife has gotten an appointment yet? In a FCBK group I’m in I’ve heard talk of a 12 month waiting period for interviews at Cairo Embassy. This is extremely disheartening and depressing.

Yeah we still do not have interview yet and i dont know if it 12 month from the time the received the paper work or the time you finish the application with the NVC

Thanks for that information Yeah our DQ was in January of this year i just dont know why it take so long is it the number of request or the lack of agents

It's just the backlog of people waiting for an interview, you're in a long line unfortunately.
