Creating a new post here because I don't know how much visibility my question on the other thread will get.

I have a ustraveldocs portal question... In the image below, will I see open interview dates here if there are any available or do I have to click on continue and open the calendar to see them?

There is an example of how it looks if there are any dates at all available.  I just logged in and chose a different category (C-1) that does have dates available as an example.  As long as the category is set correctly K1 shows that too whenever there are dates available.  No message = no dates.

Yep.  That looks correct.  If there was any K1 appointments at all available it would be showing the first available message.

Since that is settled, can I ask about this travel docs site? My question is about payment?  I just skimmed yesterday, got partially done.

It seems the payment methods are a little unusual? Do I pay then enter a receipt number of sorts?

Yes, there is an online payment method and pay in person at a listed bank branch.
You have to print out a deposit slip and take it to the bank. The bank was very familiar with what we were doing and provides a receipt number that you then enter when attempting to schedule an appointment . . .  which we have now tried dozens of times with no luck.

There is a branch not to far from her. I’m trying to get this done today. I wonder if I should talk her through it for in person, or try online? My bank doesn’t seem to have an easy way to transfer, then I’d likely set off fraud alarm bells. Why can’t it be as simple as an Amazon order??

I did see the # that some up on the payment page? Have her take that number to the local bank to pay? Later enter the ‘receipt number’?

She will take a printout of the deposit receipt to the local bank.  They will print her receipt on the reverse side.  Just be sure the deposit receipt date is current.  They are only valid for a few days (maybe a week) because of exchange rate fluctuations.

You need to print out the deposit page and take it to the RCBC branch. Since my fiancee does not own a printer, I had to use a thumb drive and go to a print shop. The bank will tear off the bottom of the printed page which has the number that you then enter when you attempt to make an appointment.

Yes, I sent the above, paper with the receipt number on it. She went to the RCBC branch, paid the MRV fee. The problem is, the ‘receipt number’ isn’t the same as the one generated from the travel docs site. I tried them all, none are valid.

I wasn’t there, not sure how familiar the teller was, I did try to explain the process, as I understood it. She did at least show the bank employee the travel docs paperwork.

Anyway, since I hit this roadblock, I generated an inquiry on the travel docs site, not holding my breath. She may go back to the bank branch in the morning, see if they can ‘validate’ the travel docs site generated number. It says good until the 28th.

If anyone has another course of action, LMK. I’ll explain to her in more detail before the 2nd bank visit. Hopefully they can sync up the receipt numbers.

This doesn't make sense. The receipt number on the customer copy is the receipt number generated from the travel docs deposit document.
The teller used the top section of the form which has the same number on it to take and process the fee.
Our teller gave us an additional receipt from the bank with the same number recorded on it.

It can take a couple of days before the receipt number is validated and accepted on UStraveldocs.  The 4 hour claim is not accurate.  One of the receipt numbers should be valid.  The bottom "receipt number" that the bank printed after our deposit matched the original number, so I'm not sure why yours doesn't, unless maybe the original one was already expired, but I wouldn't think the bank would generate a new one.  Another member here sent the deposit receipt to his fiancée, but she printed a new one with a different number.

She’s on her way soon, when they open up. She did have a receipt from the bank, the problem was, no numbers matched the one generated by the travel docs site, yes I sent the 2 pages to her. She did show/give the page to the bank teller, I’m not sure if they fully understood how the site generated number needs to be validated in the bank receipt.

Hopefully they can get it straightened out. The expiration date is 29 July, time yet.
