Hello Everyone

I think I am about to freak out. I am in the process of bringing my mom to the USA. we have completed all steps and she has her interview next week. She has her medical exam tomorrow and biometrics the next day.

I just got an email from the Bogota embassy saying that my case is incomplete. That the NVC is missing some documents. It mentions my birth certificate (I was born in Colombia, but I have US citizenship as well) with my name change (I changed my name when I became a US citizen, I have not changed my name in Colombia). And it says that is missing my moms original divorce certificate (which I already uploaded months ago and was approved).

Can I upload more documents to the CEAC website a week before the interview? I am affraid of uploading something and then be in trouble.

The email mentions to upload them and to bring them to the interview.

My mom has lots of documents and their translations to English: birth certificates, marriages including mine, her divorce, my passport (copy), my naturalization w name change, etc etc etc....

I need some help..

Thanks

I am dreading all this process!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mom's timeline:
I filled on 01/09/23

approved 01/09/24

interview: next week.
