You can already do the following asap:

- Make sure you have the fee for filing the I-485 squared away so you don't spend it accidentally and find yourself out of moola for the occasion

- Start gathering the documentation (tax returns, etc.) for the I-864 Affidavit of Support

- Have a Civil Surgeon look over your foreign partner's vaccination record and fill out I-693A. You only need to have the supplement done, not an entire physical exam, but it needs to be a USCIS-approved civil surgeon, not just any doctor in your area. There's a civil surgeon locator on the USCIS web site

Also, may I suggest you get legally married asap and you can have your wedding ceremony whenever you like after that? Sometimes obtaining the marriage certificate can take a while, and that's part of the documentation you need to include with your I-485 package.

To answer your question more directly, there is nothing you need to submit to officials before filing for AOS, but you can get part of the package ready. I filled out everything I could in my I-485, I-765 and I-131 before I even left my home country so I wouldn't have to do it later!

Apply for a SSN next week or the one after (to give them time to get you in the system)

That's a good idea as well, although it's not mandatory for the purposes of AOS. Still, it's free and usually hassle-free, and should most likely be useful at some point in the future.
