My husband and i had a case since 2018 we have one child we live apart this whole time as he is too far so far he had his IR1 immigrant visa interview at the US Embassy in INDONESIA on June 20, 2023 and they told him Congratulations your visa is approved.  The next day I checked the Visa status on the Ceac.state.gov website and the status was refused for Administrative Processing for over a year now 395 days to be exact the lawyer we had he made so many mistakes on the DS-260 and we had an issue with our  marriage certificate which we fixed before the interview and it was presented to the officer but my husband failed to explain to the officer why the uploaded marriage certificate was different from the one presented due to his lack of English. so the old one did not have an official stamp as we were scammed at the time and later on we found out and we made the required changes to have a legal marriage certificate but i went and uploaded the new marriage certificate last month not long ago on ceac as i forgot to do so after that suddenly i check the website on July 10 2024 i see the ds-260 was reopened for correction although we did not receive any email to do so. so we went on and fixed all the mistakes and resubmitted. Does anyone know how long will this take till we get an answer because if nothing is going to happen I'm considering to file a writ of mandamus because to wait to be together for 6 years should be a crime .
