Just got my biometrics appointment scheduled for 8/15/24 in Detroit. NOA arrived today, but no update on my USCIS account. Glad I have Informed Delivery with USPS so I knew it was coming in the mail!

Biometrics appointment (Detroit) 8/15/24; NOA dated 27/26/24; NOA received 8/5/24

Form I-130 (FedEx delivered: 7/11/24; text notification case received: 7/16/24; check cashed: 7/17/24; NOA received in mail 7/22/24)

Form I-485 (FedEx delivered: 7/11/24; text notification case received: 7/16/24; check cashed: 7/17/24; NOA received in mail 7/22/24)

what you can do now is create a different account by using the IOE# or the Account #

They didn't give me an account # on my NOA (it was left blank) and no IOE#. Letter says "ASC appointment Notice" and it references my application # for my I-485 and I-765. Super weird. Perhaps my file hasn't been transferred from NBC to the Detroit FO since it's listed as an Application Support Center/ASC. Still no update on my USCIS account, even though I've uploaded the receipt numbers (just shows case was accepted and they are working on it). I do have a USICS A# now though!

Anyone had any luck?

My updates (not much hehe)

June 5th 2023: i-130 received 

July 16th 2024: i-130 approved

** we have been married since 2018

July 19th 2024: AOS package sent to Chicago lockbox (i485, i864, i765, i131 and i693)

July 21st 2024: delivered to lockbox according to USPS

August 1st: RFE for affidavit

August 2nd: biometrics taken

August 2nd: i485 and i765 active review

August 3rd: USCIS acknowledged receiving our response to RFE

Not much of an update. My USCIS online account updated yesterday to show fingerprints were taken (biometrics done 8/15/24). No update yet on EAD.

Consulate received: 14th Dec 2023

Visa issued: 7th March 2024!

Entered USA: 9th June 2024

Bonus point: you don't actually need to log in. You can check status here without password too: https://egov.uscis.gov/

 

This is useful as sometimes myUSCIS is down not showing status, but this website might be up.

This is useful as sometimes myUSCIS is down not showing status, but this website might be up.

Yes! That works great too...I have been able to see status there when my USCIS account is down.
