You can find the 100 official questions on USCIS website.  They will ask you 6 to 10 of those....randomly selected.   It's the 2008 version. 

Question:  Do you have a pending I-751?  If so, make sure your spouse attends.

What is I-751? Never heard of it.

They love to small-talk - the entire time from when the IO comes to get you in the waiting room is a test. They want to small-talk with you to see how good your English is, so don't be afraid of talking. They could ask anything, and you will answer honestly, so there's nothing to prepare in the small-talk department. 

They will ask you up to 10 out of the 100 civics questions that you need to know before going to the interview. Before or after the civics test they can also ask questions about your entire immigration journey, they look into everything to make sure you didn't get your greencard/LPR status in error. 

The N-400 interview is super easy if you know English. The entire citizenship process is by far the easiest process of the entire immigration journey.

Unsolicited clarification from me (I hope you don't mind). It's the easiest if immigration history is straightforward. If the history is complicated, N-400 process can quickly become the hardest part of the journey.

You Tube has great videos on the N-400 internview, my husbnad watched them for about 2 months and passed his N-400 interview.

Study the Civic questions, you can get copies of the questions on line, print them out.

There are apps that ask all questions randomly, which are free.  Make use of them.

 

Don't overspeak.  Answer only what is expected of you.

 

In my experience, the officer did a simple page turn of my evidence and had no questions.   Context: DV winner, who divorced 3 years after moving to the US, had been an LPR for 5 years.

 

When you are approved - and I'm assuming you will be because good people always prevail - don't be afraid to release your emotion.  I bawled when he asked me what version of my name I wanted on my Naturalization certificate.  His only words were 'we are happy to have you'.

 

Go forth and be a proud naturalized American.  There are only a handful of moments (including the birth of my babies) that I rank higher than taking the oath.  I commemorate oath day each year with a serving of hush puppies and quiet gratitude to this most amazing of countries.
