Re: Spousal visa.

USCIS finished after over 12 months (they said 8 so only 50% longer).  Then it goes to NVC were they ask the same questions again.  This took 3 weeks.  After NVC it is supposed to be set up for medical exam and interview supposedly.  I thought this took 2 weeks but it seems like they say 2-6 months.  Then wait for another 1-3 months until they actually send the visa.  So we are at 3-8 months to go.

The fees have been $535 for USCIS, $360 +$180 at NVC.  The interview and medical cost $450 and $400 in Manila.  Then there is a fee I don't know how much for the visa.  So over $2,000 and about $120,000 for living traveling.etc.

In the same time Joe Biden has let in about 4 million illegal immigrants, charged them ZERO fees,  not made them wait and given them money.
Let's go Brandon!

Why is is it a battle to do it legally?  Why is it easy to do it illegally?  Why after paying 45 years of taxes am I paying while an illegal immigrant is not only free, they are paid?

The legal process allows a fairly quick path to US citizenship.  I predict there will be a major shift in border security policy in the 1st quarter of 2025.  I fear there will be a lot of chaos at the border between Nov 5th, 2024 and January 20th, 2025.

Something to discuss with your Democrat representative, I have no idea.

You received preferential treatment, as you should, due to being in the military.  Thank you for serving.  I'll go in line behind you and buy you dinner any day.  I hope Trump does not close the boarder.  Just stop illegal immigration and focus resources on legal immigration, as it should be.  I hope we can get in before.

You can get preferential treatment if you are being deployed, I for example was in the Combined Cadet Fcre and received no preferential treatment.

Nobody is going to stop it, about half enter with visas, but of course there is no need to make things so easy.

No, I did not receive any preferential treatment at all.  I was retired military when we started wife's spousal visa process.

Joe Biden and the Democrats are flooding our country with illegal immigrants as they view them as future voters for the Democrat Party.

If you go to the USCIS website, they have their goal processing times for each form. You can also view how long it is taking them process each form. Most forms are 6 months.

The form for Application for Certificate of Citizenship is form N-400.

Look at their current time for N-400.  The cycle goal to complete N-400 cases is 6 months.

This year, it is taking them only 4.9 months to complete those cases. Last year, it was 6.1 months.

It's election year so they are trying to crank out as many new voters as they can.

Bidens campaign and the Democrats are probably sitting right outside of where they hold the ceremony, handing out fliers to vote for him and the democrats. After all, it is thanks to him/them that they are now citizens.

Hopefully they will speed up after November 5th.

Fact: County Voter registration kiosks were sitting right outside the door the day my wife took her oath in 2023 at the Plano Civic Center in Plano, Texas.  Several surrounding county offices were represented.  They allowed her to fill out the registration form on the spot.  Two weeks later, wife received her voter registration card from our county (Dallas).
