Good Morning. I just checked my account with USCIS, and I was checking the progress for my wife's I-485, and I have noticed that is no longer on her account.

There was a 4 step diagram that used to be on there, and when I checked this morning it's no longer there,  has anybody experienced this or even seen something like this

No need to worry or panic. It's useless and inaccurate anyways.

Somebody reported this yesterday. Just like unreliable its estimates are, it also undergoes maintenances and outages. I will come back some time most likely.

Received updated SS card (without employment condition statement) and official I-485 approval in the mail today.  Green card USPS tracking shows it will arrive tomorrow.

Congratulations!

I'd make digital copies of everything and store in the cloud as a backup as soon as it arrives. Also, don't ever use GC for I-9 verification. I highly recommend DL + unrestricted SS card.

She's already working.  We used EAD for I-9.  No DL yet though, so I am her personal Jeepney.  All I have for her to learn to drive is a gigantic 4 door truck, so it's slow going.  We'll get her a tiny car soon.

State ID also works in place of DL. Employers may want to reverify once she's LPR. Actually, I'd recommend telling HR she's LPR to have correct status in their system. As mentioned earlier GC is not the best , because then you have to deal with HR not knowing what to do when conditional GC expires... So State ID / DL + SS card is the best.

Good luck!
