EAD got approved today.. it took only 2 days

Wow that's incredible!

Update, so  I called Uscis today and said that the Phoenix lockbox got the AOS package on July 13th and nothing yet ... Their response, yes but you need to wait 30 business days at least ... useless answer, like always ....
What is going on? That delay is insane. Shall I contact our senator's office or is it too early?

We had the biometric appointment yesterday. It went fast and the status online changed a few minutes later to case being reviewed by USCIS.

The EAD got approved tonight at 6 PM. No changes or update to the AP. Has anyone had their advanced parole approved yet?

It showed up like this for me after we got EAD approved. But when they send the EAD card it's combo with AP and both got updated with case closed.

Does it say it on your USCIS account saying that it's closed

Yes, nothing else was updated as you can see in screenshot but when the EAD card was delivered it marked as case closed and the card was a combo card

Does anyone know how to find out if the interview is being skipped? Will the USCIS account just skip to step 4?

What's step 4?

No way to know whether USCIS will waive interview or not. When waived, you get a decision instead of interview notice.

It's the way they list the events on USCIS account.

Step 2 is biometrics

Step 3 is interview (if required)

Step 4 is decision

I had my biometrics yesterday, but it didn't change to 'case being reviewed' like it says for some on here, for me it says 'September 4, 2024 Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken'

I'm confused now.

This is normal. Nothing to worry about. My I-751 went from "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken" to "Card produced" and then to "Case approved".

Some people got approved while their status showed "Case was received".
