Affidavit supporting father's paternity

My wife will be going to the Islamabad Embassy for the CRBA interview next week.

A friend of hers suggested to provide Affidavits from friends and family supporting I am the father.

I have already submitted pre natal records in support of my being the biological father of the child.

Will an Affidavit do anything to help prove my being the biological father. Ot is this just a waste of time and effort?

Affidavits tend to be very poor types of evidence as people can write anything they want.  If you have all the solid proof of your paternity, you should be fine.

Good Luck!

If they have questions about the paternity of your child, they will ask for DNA tests.  You can send affidavits, but evidence that you were together about 9 months before the birth might be stronger; do you have passport stamps from a visit around those dates?  If so, I would include them.   Personally, I would not add a comment about "this is the trip our child was conceived", that would be TMI for me, and, if they do have doubts, they will request a DNA test anyway.
