Hey all,

Haven't been around here in awhile and I'm just curious as to what the average wait time for an I-130 approval is right now? I guess I should also ask how the I-129F's are going as well? Or maybe the I-130's are getting approved before or around the same time as the I-129's. Thanks for any help!

Hi Erin,

Take a look at "March filers with no approval for K-3's" thread and that will give you some indication on what the wait times are at the moment. I'm at 142 days and I'm having a bad feeling it's going to be a while longer, as approvals are few and far between right now. It's tough looking at the I-129f - K-1's and seeing that group being approved quicker than the married folks. There's been a lot of encouragement and support from other members of this forum with their post's on the March filers thread.

I talked to a lady at CSC this morning. Had to call to get some info. She was very nice and helpful. She looked into my I-129f progress and told me they were evaluated cases with dates up to April 9th at the moment. Said that she estimated that I should have a response in the next 30 days or maybe even sooner. Have to wait and see.

The average timelien is 6 month for both of this forms,sometimes (in many cases) it comes quicker,but there are some cases when you need to wait more then this.
