If he was prepared to donate to ActBlue, one of the largest funding sources for DNC candidates, I am willing to wager that he would have no compunction registering R to mess with the GOP primary.

Donation was done on inauguration date for Pres Biden. Most people donate to get someone elected. It could've easily been lost bet. "Biden would never be President?" "Oh, you are so sure? Want to bet about it?" Yes this is speculation just like speculation about his motives for registering Republican.

Until the payment method identifies shooter as actual $15 payee, I won’t rush to judgement. At the time of donation, kid was a junior in high school and would have had to have a bank account or access to a credit card .

 

There are a few others by the same name ( across the nation )  according to the white pages . 

 

Unofficial sources  say, mom was a Democrat and dad a,Libertarian …while young Thomas . a Republican. Someone in the home displayed trump/MAGA lawn signs according to neighbors….so a Divided House indeed.

I saw some of the reporting on this.  The group's leader canceled the tour and apologized profusely.  Very soon, the offender apologized profusely.  The two have been friends/colleagues for decades.  Unsure what the long-term fallout will be.
